The Harvard Prize Book Award is awarded annually by Harvard alumni clubs around the world. The purpose of the Book Award in Bulgaria is to identify outstanding high-school students, encourage their effort, and highlight their achievements as role models for their peers. To receive the Harvard Prize Book Award, students must demonstrate outstanding academic performance, significant extracurricular commitments, strong leadership potential, and exemplary character.
This year HCB partnered with the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians, the Fulbright Commission, and BEST Foundation to seek out eligible candidates. Students were selected based on a mentor’s recommendation and an interview in English conducted by Harvard alumni.
